Welcome to our EGST #7 inspiration challenge :)
We are just a few days before Christmas and New Year's eve and for this time of the year we draw our inspiration from a Greek traditional Christmas symbol, the fruit of pomegranate.
We like to think the pomegranate as a symbol of Prosperity and Good Luck. For Greeks pomegranate is a very festy and favorite symbol for lucky charms, for Christmas decor and after New Year's eve we use to break a pomegranate in front of our door step to wish for "Happy Holidays" and "Happy New Year"
Μία ανάσα πριν την ωραιότερη εποχή του χρόνου και τι αλλο μπορούσαμε να διαλέξουμε για έμπνευση παρά το αγαπημένο μας ελληνικό παραδοσιακό ρόδι. Βαθιά ριζωμένο στην ελληνική παράδοση των Χριστουγέννων το ρόδι ειναι σύμβολο αφθονίας, γονιμότητας και καλής τύχης.
