A few facts about Kelly: 
She worked for years as a civil engineer, at big construction companies in Athens and other worksites. She used to work in crazy rhythms and hours.

But everything changed when her daughter was born. She and her husband decided to move to Kranidi, a small, picturesque town of the Greek province, to live in a quiet and more human environment.

δούλευε για χρόνια ως πολιτικός μηχανικός σε μεγάλες κατασκευαστικές εταιρείες στην Αθήνα και αλλού. Δούλευε με τρελούς ρυθμούς, για πολλές ώρες.
Όλα όμως άλλαξαν όταν γεννήθηκε η κόρη της. Με τον άντρα της αποφάσισαν να μετακομίσουν στο Κρανίδι, μια μικρή γραφική πόλη της ελληνικής επαρχίας, για να ζήσουν σε ένα πιο ήρεμο και ανθρώπινο περιβάλλον.

At this time she decided to become a stay-at-home mom. She remembered everything she learned from her mother and her grandmas. So, she started to crochet cute little shoes for her baby girl, and she realized how much she loved to crochet, sew and embroidery beautiful creations. 

Εκείνη την εποχή αποφάσισε να σταματήσει τη δουλειά και να αφοσιωθεί στην ανατροφή της κόρης της. Θυμήθηκε όλα όσα είχε μάθει από τη μητέρα και τις γιαγιάδες της. Έτσι, άρχισε να πλέκει χαριτωμένα παπουτσάκια για την κόρη της και συνειδητοποίησε πόσο αγαπά το πλέξιμο, το ράψιμο και το κέντημα.
