ETSY CRAFT PARTY 2011

Last weekend, during our EGST Summer Bazaar, we also celebrated Etsy's 6th anniversary with a craft party. We had workshops all-round weekend, demonstrating techniques and crafts, such as origami flowers with paper, jewelry making, recycling and upcycling, millefiori technique with polymer clay, weaving, marbling and mokume with silver clay!
Everybody had great fun and the participation of the visitors was overwhelming!

Weaving and making flowers using a.... plastic fork

We created jewelry using old T-shirts or materials of old broken pieces of jewelry.
We also made cute objects for home decor using aluminum cans

Our many many thanks to Erganiweaving, Sidirom, CreationsbyEve, Eried, BlackredDots, Psyboom and Zdrop who kindly shared with the rest of us their techniques and helped everyone to make something beautiful out of plain materials and enjoy with a new crafting experience :)

We are very proud because this year our team - Etsy Greek street team - managed to organize one of the largerst Etsy Craft patry  - check here -  so Etsy send us a gift box full of goodies and treats from Pebeo, BurdaStyle, Martha Stewart, Pendleton, Sublime Stitching, Plaid, Duncan, Brewer, Lark Craft, Bazzill Basics Paper, Swap.com, and many more! We received it a couple days after our craft party but very soon we'll meet again and use all these nice things to have some great and fun crafting time... like we always do!!!
