Brownies




This month's recipe is for chocolate lovers! Brownies from Christine of Xroma .

INGREDIENTS:
200 gr melted dark chocolate
180 gr melted butter
150 gr sugar (preferably powdered)
vanilla
3 eggs
90 gr flour (not self-rising)
180 gr roughly grounded peanuts

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven in 356F.
2. Melt butter and dark chocolate in a saucepan.Let the mixture cool for a while.
3. Beat the eggs, the sugar and the vanilla until they get fluffy and white.
4. Stir the two mixtures.
5.Αdd the flour and stir again.
6.Pour the peanuts and stir again.
7.Lay non-stick paper onto a pyrex cooking pan and pour the mixture.
8.Bake it in the oven for about 25 minutes, till it gets a crust οn top but stays soft and wet inside.
9.Let cool for an hour.
10. Make some coffee, have magazines and newspapers along  and enjoy!

Η συνταγή του μήνα είναι για τους εραστές της σοκολάτας! Βrownies από την Xριστίνα- Xroma.

ΥΛΙΚΑ:
200 γρ. λιωμένη κουβερτούρα
180 γρ λιωμένο βούτυρο
150 γρ ζάχαρη (κατά προτίμηση άχνη)
βανίλια
3 αυγά
90 γρ αλεύρι (όχι αλεύρι που φουσκώνει μόνο του)
180 γρ χοντροκομμένα φυστίκια

ΕΚΤΕΛΕΣΗ:
1.Προθερμαίνετε το φούρνο στους 180 βαθμούς.
2. Λιώστε το βούτυρο και την κουβερτούρα σε ένα κατσαρολάκι. Αφήστε το μίγμα να κρυώσει λίγο.
3. Χτυπήστε τα αυγά με τη ζάχαρη και τη βανίλια μέχρι να αφρατέψουν και να ασπρίσουν.
4. Ανακατέψτε τα δύο μίγματα.
5.Προσθέστε το αλεύρι και ανακατέψτε ξανά.
6.Ρίξτε τα φυστίκια και ανακατέψτε πάλι.
7.Βάλτε αντικολλητικό χαρτί σε ένα πυρέξ και ρίξτε το μίγμα.
8.Ψήστε το στο φούρνο για περίπου 25 λεπτά, μέχρι να αποκτήσει κρούστα από πάνω αλλά να μείνει μαλακό και υγρό εσωτερικά.
9.Αφήστε το να κρυώσει για 1 ώρα.
10.Eτοιμάστε καφέ, περιοδικά και εφημερίδες και απολαύστε!

Fall Winter 2013 Trends: Festive Black (and Sequins)

What to wear to the party? The question repeating itself every year this pre-holiday season. The answers are plenty and generally include: sparkle, fancy fabrics, little black dresses, metallic colors, lace. Putting on your favorite "special" clothes and having fun with your beloved people. Isn't that a nice thing to look forward to? Endless choices, your mood and style will help you decide.
Τι φοράμε στο πάρτι; Μια ερώτηση που δεν λείπει αυτή την περίοδο πριν από τις γιορτές των Χριστουγέννων. Πολλές και οι απαντήσεις. Και από παντού. Σε γενικές γραμμές περιλαμβάνουν: λάμψη, ιδιαίτερα υφάσματα, το "μικρό μαύρο φόρεμα", χρυσό, ασημί, δαντέλα. Βάζουμε τα καλά μας και περνάμε καλά με τους αγαπημένους μας. Ωραίο σαν σκέψη και αξίζει πάντα την αναμονή και την προετοιμασία. Οι επιλογές είναι ατελείωτες. Η διάθεση και το στυλ θα μας οδηγήσει.

My mood for this season is black and sequins. And for discovering less known designers. I've had enough of this little black dress thing, I want to see black in a variety of lengths, styles and interesting designs. There are many ways to wear your black dress and here are some options. It doesn't even has to be a dress, a black ensemble will do, like the Veronique Branquinho dress-pants combo. Most of them are from fresh or unknown designers although I must admit to having my soft spots and being unable to resist adding a Christopher Kane or a Mary Katrantzou dress.
Η δική μου διάθεση για φέτος με οδηγεί σε μαύρες επιλογές και στις παγιέτες. Και στην εξερεύνηση λιγότερο γνωστών σχεδιαστών. Επίσης, έχω δει αρκετά και παντού αυτό το "μικρό μαύρο φόρεμα", θέλω να δω μαύρο σε διάφορα μήκη, στυλ και σχέδια. Δεν χρειάζεται καν να είναι φόρεμα, κι ενα μαύρο σύνολο είναι υπέροχη ιδέα, όπως της Veronique Branquinho που συνδυάζει φόρεμα-παντελόνι. Οι περισσότερες προτάσεις είναι από νέους ή πιο άγνωστους σχεδιαστές, αν και έχω τις αδυναμίες μου και δεν μπορώ να μην βάλω ανάμεσα στις προτάσεις και ένα φόρεμα από Christopher Kane ή Mary Katrantzou.

And then there is this thing I have for sequins. Sequins are the most misunderstood fabric, but in interesting and unusual designs are always a plus in my fashion book. A sequin sweater? As seen in Vera Wang and Mary Katrantzou? Great, go for it! Or maybe an unusual gold sequined dress by Vivienne Westwood. Whatever your choice, stay in the sparkling isle.
Και μετά είναι και αυτή η αδυναμία που έχω στις παγιέτες. Παρεξηγημένες από πολλούς, μου αρέσει πολύ όταν τις βλέπω σε ασυνήθιστα και ενδιαφέροντα σχέδια. Ενα πουλόβερ από παγιέτες; Πρόταση από Vera Wang και Mary Katrantzou. Φυσικά και ναι! Ή ένα ασυνήθιστο χρυσό φόρεμα με παγιέτες της Vivienne Westwood; Όποια και αν είναι η επιλογή μας, αυτό που δεν ξεχνάμε, είναι να λάμψουμε!
